Coming up to 14 years in October 2019.
2.If you could change one thing in the tax system, what would it be and why?
I would like to see the global digital companies being taxed more than the Chancellor’s announcement in the recent Autumn 2018 Budget – they should be contributing more to the UK tax system.
3.If you could give your 18-year-old self-one piece of advice what would it be?
To have more confidence in your own abilities.
4.What was your very first job?
A Care Assistant in a Nursing Home in Saltdean.
5.What hobbies do you have outside of work?
I enjoy all types of fitness classes and try and attend at least 3 or 4 per week if I can. I also have a passion for floristry and try and create bouquets for family & friends when I can.
6.Is it still a good time to be starting a new business in the current climate?
With the uncertainty of Brexit surrounding the majority of businesses, some may say no, but if you have an idea you are passionate about and a strong business plan, both financial and marketing, then anytime is a good time.
7.If you suddenly became financially independent, what would you miss most about your job?
I love people and being in a marketing role I get to speak with different people every day and hear about their lives and their businesses, so I would miss that.
8.What is the difference between a top ten 10 employer and a smaller firm?
I think a smaller firm is able to be much more agile in an ever-changing business climate.
9.If you could meet a celebrity, dead or alive, who would it be?
Audrey Hepburn.
10.Describe yourself in three words?
Sociable, fun-loving and liberal.
